Formula and assumptions / 계산식 및 가정

Degree of superheat = Tstate − Tsat(P). Saturation requires absolute pressure; bar(g) is converted by adding atmospheric pressure.

Worked example / 예시

At 1 MPa absolute, saturation temperature is about 179.9 °C. A 250 °C state is about 70.1 °C superheated.

FAQ

At saturation the difference is zero and phase may be ambiguous; quality is needed for a two-phase state.
